Who We Are

Dulce Up-Front is a multimedia arts activist collective based out of Fresno, CA. We intend to collaboratively
invent positive environments of creative expression utilizing a multimedia arts approach
where every aspect, from design to implementation, is developed with respect for ourselves, our
families, and our communities.

Dulce Up-Front holds a multimedia art global music dance experience in Fresno, CA every first Friday
of each month called PINCHE. This is a collaborative project between us and an array of event
producers, artists, musicians, and grassroots organizations from throughout California. Each event
is curated in a similar format with live music performances, DJ sets, live artists, poetry, dance performances,
artisan vendors, and food. The focus can different from show to show with regard to the
cultural aspect.

This monthly event is designed to be an inclusive and informative space for our community. A place
where individuals can have a unique experience through music and live art in a visually rich multimedia
environment. We are artists, organizers and activists with a need for movement building through
the arts within our communities.

PINCHE is held at Fulton 55 which is an events space located in Downtown Fresno. Mainly a music
venue, they also handle special events, private parties, and fundraisers. This 2 story 7500 square
feet building can accommodate up to 500 people. Although this is a “21 and over” venue there are
plans currently in motion to transition to an “all ages” format with the addition of their food service
area.
